Welcome to our website.
Whether you’re a current pupil or parent, a past member of our school community, or even an OFSTED inspector, we hope that you enjoy reading through the pages of our site and find them informative.
Being a large, vibrant and diverse Catholic school, things never stay still for long at English Martyrs. Therefore you should find plenty of information in the following pages, about the provision that we offer. You can only see so much in a website though, so we’re always happy for prospective parents or other interested persons, to make an appointment to come in for a visit.
Parents: We need your support.
Bishop Philip has asked the Catholic community to support Catholic schools and the right of Catholics to send their children to them; we need you to make your voice heard.
The Government is making a critical decision on whether to overturn the admissions cap which prevents Catholic schools from allowing all Catholic pupils to attend. They have acknowledged that this policy discriminates against Catholics and promised to abandon it, now we need you to tell them not to U-turn on their promise to Catholics.
Our staff and community members work hard to provide a rich and stimulating experience of school life for our children. The school is often frequented by outside visitors who come in to talk to the pupils about a wide variety of different subjects.
Our children also venture out of school for trips, sporting events and other exciting activities. Click here for a link to our latest newsletters, to find out what’s been happening recently.
Please click on the link below to write to the Government and urge them to drop their policy which bans new Catholic schools.
It will ask you to put in your details and submit a letter already written on your behalf. Once submitted it will go directly to the secretary of state showing your support to safeguard Catholic
